The PCA Optional Rules for Arbitration of Disputes Relating to Outer Space Activities provide for the establishment of a panel of arbitrators considered to have expertise in this area. These procedural rules also provide for the establishment of a panel of scientific and technical experts who may be appointed as expert witnesses. Parties to a dispute may, but are not obliged to, choose arbitrators and expert witnesses from these panels.
