On September 17, 2010, PCA Secretary-General Christiaan M.J. Kröner signed an agreement in Beijing with the Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Yu Jianlong, to facilitate cooperation among international arbitration institutions. The PCA will work with CIETAC, a major permanent arbitration institution in China, to organize conferences, lectures, and seminars on arbitration and other means of dispute resolution.
