The fifth volume in the PCA Award Series was recently published by TMC Asser Press. The OSPAR Arbitration (Ireland - United Kingdom) Award of 2003 contains the Final Award of the tribunal established pursuant to the 1992 Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment for the North-East Atlantic (“OSPAR” Convention) to decide the dispute concerning Ireland’s request for access to information about the United Kingdom’s decision to commission the MOX fuel plant under Article 9 of the Convention. The volume also includes an introduction by Professor Dan Bodansky on the contribution of the award to international law.
