On March 22 and 23, 2009, the PCA again hosted pre-moot practice rounds to prepare students for the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, to be held in Vienna from April 2 to 9, 2009.

The following seven universities attended the pre-moots: the University of Cologne, King’s College London, Elon University (U.S.A.), Ecole de Formation des Barreaux de la Cour d’appel de Paris, Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, Leiden University, and Versailles Bar School. More than twenty-five arbitration practitioners and specialists acted as arbitrators.

The moots were held at the TMC Asser Institute and in the PCA’s facilities in the Peace Palace.
