The PCA’s Secretary-General, Mr. Tjaco van den Hout, received H.E. Mr. Cyril Svoboda, Minister of the Government of the Czech Republic, and H.E. Mr. Petr Mareš, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, on May 22, 2008. The Secretary-General and his guests discussed the function of arbitration in the peaceful resolution of disputes between states and the role and contribution that the PCA can make in this area.
