Several PCA staff members attended the biennial conference of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), held in Rio de Janeiro in May 2010. The council announced the formation this year of Young ICCA, a group for students and young practitioners that aims to bring together professionals from around the world, as well as to promote the practice of international arbitration in developing nations. The PCA cooperates with ICCA in the production of ICCA publications.

PCA Legal Counsel Lise Bosman will serve as one of three Young ICCA office-holders for 2010–2011, together with Marike Paulsson of Hanotiau & van den Berg in Brussels and Eduardo Damião Gonçalves of Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados in São Paulo. The association will hold its first annual meeting on May 19, 2011 in Geneva.
