On May 24, 2010, the PCA signed a formal cooperation agreement with Australia’s leading commercial arbitration body, the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in order to strengthen ties to promote the effective resolution of international disputes in the Asia Pacific region. The PCA and the ACICA will share advice and expertise, and will each open their facilities to access for hearings of the other party.
