The 2008 International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Conference, on the theme of the 50th anniversary of the New York Convention, held in Dublin from June 8 to 10, was attended by a number of PCA staff members. The editorial staff of ICCA Publications, who are responsible for the publication of the Yearbook Commercial Arbitration, the International Handbook on Commercial Arbitration, and the ICCA Congress Series, are employed by the PCA. At the conference, the PCA’s Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Brooks W. Daly, was a member of a panel that discussed the differences between investment treaty and commercial arbitration.
